Nike Is Dropping An Air Max 95 OG “Reverse Gradient” Inspired By Original Sketch

The iconic Nike Air Max 95 OG “Neon” is set to make a global comeback on April 18th, but the brand has surprised fans with a special release ahead of the launch. Taking inspiration from the original sketches of designer Sergio Lozano, Nike has unveiled the Air Max 95 OG “Reverse Gradient” colorway for the first time.

The announcement was made at an exclusive event at the MoMA Design Store in SoHo, NYC, where Nike showcased a film highlighting the influence of the Air Max 95 on downtown youth culture. The “Reverse Gradient” design features a unique twist on the classic Black/Grey/Volt color scheme, with a white-to-black fade and a furry suede upper texture not seen on the original Air Max 95 OG.

The official release date for the Air Max 95 OG “Reverse Gradient” is yet to be announced, but sneakerheads can expect a retail price of $190. With three different lace options included and a solid black outsole, this special edition pays homage to the early design stages of the iconic silhouette.

Stay tuned for more updates on the release of the Air Max 95 OG “Reverse Gradient” and be sure to add this unique colorway to your collection when it drops.
